This is Saul Waranch’s third solo exhibition at Haley-Henman. In the summer of 2016, he lived in the Fanad Hills of northern Ireland, overlooking the fjord, Lough Swilly. For six days he filled his sketch books with drawings capturing the contours of lines, spaces and forms. His memory formed impressions of rapidly changing colors as the landscape interacted with the weather. These memories are expression in these paintings in oil and mixed media on canvas, or wood panels.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through September 30.
