The Trinity Park Conservancy is looking for input for Harold Simmons Park, which will located in the Trinity River basin. At each workshop, guests will find out how their input is important in the design of the future park; the timeline of the park’s design and development process; how to stay involved in the planning and project; how parks contribute to healthy communities; and answers to any questions they may have, such as what it takes to build a park in a floodplain.

Each event is family-friendly and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

  • September 17: Cedar Crest Golf Course
  • September 22: Trinity River Audubon Center
  • September 24: Lake Highlands High School
  • September 25: South Dallas Cultural Center
  • September 26: Solar Preparatory School for Girls
  • September 27: Bachman Lake Recreation Center
  • October 2: Jimmie Tyler Brasher Elementary School
  • October 3: J. Erik Jonsson Central Library
  • October 4: George Bannerman Dealey Montessori Academy
