The Plano Balloon Festival is a three-day weekend event that offers something for everyone. The event will feature a balloon glow presented by the City of Plano, skydivers, hot air balloons, concerts, fireworks, a huge kid’s fun zone, merchandise vendors, corporate exhibitors, and variety of foods. There will also be a half marathon, relay, 5K run/walk, and 1-mile Fun Run.

Schedule of events
- Thursday, September 19: The grand opening of the festival features the RE/MAX of Texas Parachute Team Exhibition, followed by a Balloon Glow. The Plano Symphony Orchestra Family Friendly Concert will also be on the FOX4 Main Stage, followed by a fireworks display.
- Friday, September 20: Midtown 10 will perform at various points throughout the day. There will also be the RE/MAX of Texas Parachute Team Exhibition, a Balloon Glow presented by RE/MAX, and a fireworks display.
- Saturday, September 21: The Balloon Launch will occur Saturday morning with concert son the Fox4 Main Stage at various points during the day. There will also be a RE/MAX of Texas Parachute Team Exhibition, a Balloon Glow presented by H-E-B | Central Market, and a fireworks display.
- Sunday, September 22: Sunday will include a morning Balloon Launch and more.
