The Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center will present the extension of their exhibits in honor of Black History Month. Inside the Brigadier General Charles McGee and Don Hinz Theater, NAEC will show a short film on the half hour that highlights the struggles and determination of the Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of primarily Black military pilots and airmen who fought in World War II. Along with the film, there is an exhibit dedicated to the life of Brigadier General Charles McGee. Displays are available to the public and for school tours, beginning on the first day of February and continuing throughout Black History Month.
