The 2013 Chinese Lantern Festival is an entirely new take on holiday lights. The Festival’s vivid spectrum offers a fresh twist on getting outdoors and enjoying the wonder of the seasons. New for the holidays is a Santa lantern, along with Gift Box lanterns and The Wishing Tree - a special way visitors can share their hopes and prayers, following the custom of an ancient myth.
Acrobatic shows continue twice each night (6:30 and 8 pm), in a 20-minute performance, included with admission. Visitors can also watch folk artists weave and create unique handcrafts, and browse a marketplace for souvenirs and gifts. Chinese and western foods are offered for sale on a patio overlooking the lagoon and its reflections of lotuses, frogs, and royal boats.
