The Hope Center will present a three-part speaker series featuring leaders from a variety of industries, providing wisdom and direction for how Christians are to respond to the trials of our current culture with love and a biblical perspective.
Part one will feature Michele Rigby Assad, an undercover officer in Baghdad for 10 years with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations. Assad served the United States for 10 years, working in Iraq and secret locations in the Middle East. Upon retirement, Assad and her husband Joseph (also a former agent) joined a group of Americans who aided in the evacuation of a group of persecuted Christians from Northern Iraq-a story featured on ABC’s 20/20 in December 2015. Assad is also the author of Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA and What It Taught Me About What’s Worth Fighting For.
