House of Blues Dallas will partner with UptownLatino.net to produce a new and exciting cultural celebration, ¡Representa! This unique fiesta will celebrate the cultural pride, history, dance and music of the Latino nations all under one roof.

¡Representa! is a showcase of local, North Texas, talent representing the diverse Latino culture from around the world. This event will fill the entire House of Blues with Latin pride – four rooms and four stages. Each room within the venue will represent a specific region of Latin America and feature performances, food and fun specific that region.

The event will commence with a Latino Street Party in the front driveway filling the air with traditional sights, sounds and tastes. A DJ will be playing Latin American favorites. Activities will include dancing, soccer, and face painting for the children. Traditional Elote will be served and the Paletero man will offer ice cream to beat the heat.

The restaurant, Crossroads at House of Blues, will host a selection of Central American plates from Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua & Panama. The Crossroads stage will be filled with performances representing the music and dance from the region.

The Cambridge Room will feature influences from Mexico and USA. Guests can learn where Tequila comes from and how to make those popular Tamales. Guest will also enjoy live Rock en Español bands and Mariachi as they taste authentic Mexican food.

The main Music Hall will feature South America, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and, Ecuador. Each country represents the happiness they are known by through their food offerings and music on the main stage.

The exclusive Foundation Room will host the islands of the Caribbean including Puerto Rico, Cuba and Dominican Republic. Well known local DJs will be playing the best Latin beats and Cuban cigars will be rolling on the patio. Guests will have the opportunity to taste some of the Carribean’s famous tropical drinks, such as Mojitos, Sangrias, Piña Coladas and more.

The Latino Pride Celebration After Party is the perfect way to celebrate the day and heat up the evening. The party kicks off at 9 pm in the Foundation Room. Popular DJs will be mixing the Latin-American hits. Drink specials and Latino dishes will be offered. This portion of the event is reserved for guests 21 and over.
