The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its ninth Día de los Muertos Celebración over two weeks. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Celebración builds on this tradition by presenting a two-week event featuring the art installation "La Ceiba: The Sacred Tree of Life" by artist Ricardo Alarcón; a visual art exhibition; dance performances by Grupo Pakal specializing in Mayan dance presentations; live mariachi music; family art activities, children’s entertainment; and food and beverage concessions.
