The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its fifth Día de los Muertos Celebracion. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Dia de los Muertos. The Celebracion builds on this tradition by presenting an Opening Parade; dance performances by Grupo Pakal, specializing in Mayan dance presentations, and Alegre Ballet Folklorico; traditional face painting; altar building and blessing; children’s activities; live mariachi music; a costume contest; and a free showing of the Disney/Pixar movie, Coco, at 6:30 pm.
