ilume Gallerie will present the new exhibit JFK/The 1960s from Dallas artist Kat. Kat was not born when John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated 50 years ago, but her newly painted canvas impressions of the former 35th President, the former first family and the era that was the 1960s merge to reflect a decade of rock and roll, war and a desire for peace.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through December 14.
