1836 Production and Johnny Ponderosa present the 11th annual Snaketoberfest featuring Dallas' premier sidewinders Slow Moving Snakes, accompanied by some of DFW’s finest honky tonk, y’allternative, and cosmic country bands, including John Pedigo, Meredith Crawford & the Mean Streak, and Justin Pickard and the Thunderbird Winos. Performances run from 12-10 pm.
The event will also feature barbecue and brews from Intrinsic Smokehouse and Brewery. Purchase of a $15 souvenir cup gets two beers and admission to the show. A $5 souvenir cup for kids and non-drinkers gets unlimited refills of tea, lemonade, and water.
Sponsors include Intrinsic, Fortunate Son Beer Garden and Pizza House, Whittling Wizard Tattoo, Tone Shop Guitars, Dead Wax Records, Zounds Sounds, and Garland Cultural Arts. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Good Samaritans of Garland, a non-profit dedicated to reducing hunger.
