The first annual Jacob Logan Run will be put on to honor one-year anniversary of the passing of Coppell student and football player Jacob Logan, who died after a cliff diving accident at Possum Kingdom Lake.

Proceeds from the 5K and fun run will be used to build Jacob’s LifeVision Home at Family Legacy’s Tree of Life Children’s Village near Lusaka, Zambia. Jacob’s LifeVision Home will be a transitional home for boys that are nearing the end of high school and preparing to leave the Tree of Life orphanage. This home will help them transition into their next stage, whether it is college or learning a trade. These boys will live with a mentor that will help them as they adjust to adult life and responsibilities.
