James McMurtry, son of Lonesome Dove writer Larry McMurtry, has long since made a name for himself as a singer-songwriter, even as he works in a genre that could easily go hand-in-hand with his father's work. He'll play the Granada with his son, Curtis McMurtry, and Bryan Hayes as opening acts.
