Grammy-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux will put on a solo guitar performance, presented by the Allegro Guitar Society of Dallas.
Vieaux will take audiences on a classical guitar music journey around the globe with Scarlatti’s Sonata in A major, K. 208; Giuliani’s Variations on a Theme by Handel, Op. 107; Bach’s Violin Sonata No. 1 in G minor BWV 1001; Albéniz’: Asturias and “Cuba” from Suite Espanola, Op. 47; Antônio Carlos Jobim’s A Felicidade (arr. Dyens); Pat Metheny’s In Her Family/Antonia (arr. Vieaux); Duke Ellington’s In a Sentimental Mood (arr. Vieaux); and José Luis Merlín’s Suite del Recuerdo.
