The Dallas Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, will host its sixth annual Fund A Cure Luncheon. The luncheon will raise money in support of JDRF’s mission to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.
The featured speaker will be Will H. Cross, the first in the T1D community to summit Mount Everest. Cross has lived with type 1 diabetes for more than 40 years in the most extreme conditions and now works as a motivational speaker to educate and encourage others with type 1 diabetes.
Super Bowl champion Isaiah Stanbach and his wife Natalie, whose oldest daughter Nadia was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 3, will be special guests.
