Part of the Jewish Film Festival of Dallas. When amateur inventor Yehezkel learns of his close friend Max’s terminal illness, he will do anything he can to help him; including constructing a device to allow Max to self-administer a fatal dose of drugs. This dark comedy gets out of hand when fellow members of his senior community come to Yehezkel with requests for their own devices. Winners of four 2014 Israeli Academy (Ophir) Awards and ten nominations, this is the film everyone will be talking about.
Following this film, Dr. David Patterson, Hillel A. Feinberg Chair in Holocaust Studies, Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas will discuss the film and take questions.
