The Visionary Women luncheon celebrates the vision of Fowler's founder and Dallas' first female philanthropist, Juliette Peak Fowler, and honors individuals who make a difference in our community. Luncheon chairs are Natalie and Mike Morin. The theme of this year's luncheon is "Where Love Grows" and the color for the year is "Living Coral."
The 2019 Visionary Woman is Michelle Kinder, who will be honored for her visionary leadership and advocacy for children as the former executive director of Momentous Institute. Kinder will also be the keynote speaker. A licensed professional counselor, she has championed social emotional health, trauma-informed care and socially conscious leadership.
Other honorees include TCU student Abbey Widick and Fowler's Master Gardener volunteers. Former honorees include Ebby Halliday, Vivian Castleberry, Virginia Chandler Dykes, Marca Lee Bircher & Patricia Hardman, Claire Cunningham and the Honorable Kay Bailey Hutchison.
