Kettle Art Gallery will present the return of Mahsa Moein with an entirely new body of work in "The Zest for Life." An impressionist at heart, Moein's works exude the beauty of several great 19th century masters with an honest expression that is truly all her own.
From the Taliban’s attack on Afghanistan, to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, to the Islamic Republic’s attack on its own people, and the murder of countless people this last fall alone, Moein sees the pain, feels the pain, and paints the pain. People fall, and once again, like a phoenix, rise from the ashes and mend all of gashes. People fall in love, find and lose hope, grow bitter, and yet still, get back up and shine once again, as this is all that life is. The artist chooses to show life’s colors.
