Khan Plastic Surgery presents "heART & Soul” featuring artists, Ricardo Salas, Jr., Jen Ayyad, Doc Wright and Christine Heimerman.
Ricardo Salas, Jr. works primarily in oil or acrylic on canvas. He uses heavy texture, whimsical patterns, and scraping techniques to create his playful, abstract works of art. Jen Ayyad will introduce for the first time a few plexiglass pieces, framed in interactive lightboxes along with additional new works using inks on Yupo and acrylic on plexiglass. Doc Wright is a live edge wood artisan who was recently featured in The Dallas Observer. His works are a unique blend of live edge, reverse live edge and never before seen epoxy creations. Christine Heimerman is a skilled Glass Artist and professor at UTA. When she is not spending time on her UTA Glass Birds project for Peace or teaching she is in the studio creating beautiful glass art.
