You'll now be able to ice skate in Klyde Warren Park, but probably not in the way you had envisioned. This because the rink is covered with Super-Glide, a synthetic surface that acts like real ice but can be used in any kind of weather. Bring your own skates if you've got 'em and you can skate for free; otherwise skate rentals are $5 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. Every Tuesday skating will be free thanks to a sponsorship from El Centro College.
