Culinary talent is in no short order for this year’s Park & Palate, Klyde Warren Park’s annual fundraising event. This year, the two-day culinary celebration is taking a unique theme of “Pillars and Protégés,” featuring well-known pillar chefs and up-and-coming protégés who will be creating a special collaborative dish for the weekend’s tasting.
The lineup includes notable chefs from throughout Texas and the country such as Jason Dady, Kent Rathbun, Richard Ruskell, Tyson Cole, and Dean Fearing. Participating chefs will select a partner who will collaborate with them at the event to create a truly diverse lineup.
Now in its third year, Park & Palate will feature two fundraising events for Klyde Warren Park. Down to the Roots, an exclusive evening event for park VIPs, including sponsors, underwriters, and donors kicks off the weekend on Friday, October 13. The Grand Taste, on Saturday, October 14, is the public’s way of supporting the park and its more than 1,300 free programs and events each year. The Grand Taste will feature top chefs, breweries, wineries and spirits, as well as food and wine seminars.
