Latino Arts Project presents "Betsabeé Romero: An Altar in Their Memory" opening day
In celebration of Día de Muertos, an authentic exhibition titled "Betsabeé Romero: An Altar in Their Memory" will be on display at Latino Arts Project, a permanent pop-up museum.
Designed by internationally acclaimed Mexican visual artist Betsabeé Romero, the Día de Muertos altar honors immigrants who have lost their lives while trying to cross the border and those who have fallen due to gun violence. Romero’s work has been featured on five continents with more than 100 individual exhibitions. The event will also feature an interactive concert, STEAM activations, and the opportunity for guests to design their personal Día de Muertos altar.
