In conjunction with its fall season premiere exhibition, Fauna, featuring works by world-renowned artist Hunt Slonem, Laura Rathe Fine Art will present a lecture and book signing with the artist.
Moderated by gallery owner, Laura Rathe, the artist will be joined in conversation by two members of the Dallas community: award-winning interior designer Mary Anne Smiley and noted art adviser, author, and educator, Gail Sachson. The event will be the first in a series of lectures and conversations organized by LRFA as part of their Create.Curate.Collect. lecture series.
Slonem will sign copies of his books, When Art Meets Design and Bunnies (2014). The former celebrates Slonem’s approach to art, collecting, design, and life, featuring photography of the marvelous spaces he’s decorated and restored. The latter addresses the artist’s most popular series. Slonem’s Bunnies, as they are affectionately known, have delighted viewers and captivated collectors the world over.
