Laura Rathe Fine Art will present "Skywriting," a solo exhibition featuring Toronto-based painter Janna Watson.

Painted in the countryside of northern Ontario, "Skywriting" showcases Watson's newest body of works, each inspired by seductive sunsets and cloudscapes. The artist’s purposeful clusters and gestural strokes take viewers on a spiritual journey traversing through dimensions that capture soft, luxuriant neutral shades, entangled with pops of deep and electric hues.

For Watson, painting abstraction is about embodying the essence of the physical world and visually articulating the invisible fields through her polychromatic compositions.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through May 6.
