Adrianne Haslet, a professional ballroom dancer at the peak of her career, was enjoying the 2013 Boston Marathon when the unimaginable happened. Adrianne survived the marathon bombing that April day, but was critically injured and lost her left leg below the knee as a result.
Just three years later, Adrianne ran the 2016 Boston Marathon. She has fought hard to return to her life and activities and has become a voice and advocate for other amputees who need help to receive quality prosthetic care. Haslet will be the featured speaker for Lunch with Adrianne-Texas Style. Hosted by Holly and Doug Brooks, Board members and long-time supporters of Limbs for Life, the luncheon is open to the public.
