At the 2nd Annual Lone Star Bark, you and your best furry friends can enjoy a great afternoon of exciting thoroughbred racing, $1 hot dogs, and more. Each dog in attendance will receive a free "Lone Star Bark" bandana and each dog owner will receive a free plastic fire hydrant container with disposal bags inside.
There will be animal rescue organizations and pet friendly vendors set up in the Courtyard of Champions, plus water and potty stations will be set up in designated areas. For youngsters of the human kind, there will be bounce houses set up on the Bar & Book lawn.
Doggie Dash dog races will be held with top dog prizes of $200 to be awarded to winning doggies and $100 to those finishing second.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times when on property. All dogs must remain outside at all times. No dogs will be allowed in the Grandstand building or Bar & Book facility. Owners are required to clean up their dog's accidents (i.e. plastic waste bags). A potty station and water station will be provided in a designated area. If your dog attacks another animal or human, you will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be provided.
