The Lone Star Wind Orchestra will kick off its eighth season with Deep in the Heart, featuring Aaron Copland's "Hoe Down" from Rodeo, Donald Grantham's "Baron Samedi's Sarabande (and Soft Shoe)," Morton Gould's "Fanfare for Freedom," Kyle Kindred's "Variations on a Tango" and Friedrich Gulda's Cello Concerto. The program will also feature a world premiere by Christopher Tucker.
