Longfellow Gallery will present their debut show, featuring the work of new artist Rodd Gray in his first-ever solo exhibition, "I Dream in Color."
Gray embraces the use of rich hues and textures to craft his multi-media works. He is a well-known figure in the Dallas LGBT community and through his extensive charity work he has raised more than $3 million over the years. He founded the nonprofit Home for the Holidays and is the Mistress of Ceremonies, as his alter ego Patti le Plae Safe, for Gay Bingo which is held monthly and benefits the Resource Center. Additionally, Gray is an Air Force disabled veteran, Miss Gay USA (1995), and owns his own hair salon.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through April 2.
