Elaina Kay’s Cornbread & Country began in 2019 at Garden Cafe in East Dallas. Kay teamed up with local chef Graham Dodds in order to give people an experience with great food and live music. Kay had just finished a record at Modern Electric Recording Studios in Dallas and hoped to raise enough money to release the record and hit the road touring.
Attendance exceeded their expectations by far. The second year was moved to a larger location, Sons of Hermann Hall in Dallas. Elaina’s husband and Dallas fireman, took over the catering in 2021 (Smoke Showin’ BBQ). They have had four successful years at Sons of Hermann Hall.
Kay will be joined by Mike McClure Duo, Mitchel Ferguson, Corina Grove, and Race Ricketts.
