Lowest G Cools Down the Big D, the annual Belmont Street to Ross Avenue block party/fundraiser, will continue to raise money and/or donations of fans, window units and portable air conditioning units to help low income disabled and senior citizens in Dallas at-large.
In partnership with the City of Dallas Office of Senior Affairs and the Dallas County Adult Protective Services, volunteers will inform the public about senior needs in Dallas and transport the fans to the Silver Star Room, Dallas Fire/Emergency Department, Dallas Police Department, and other agencies that help senior citizens in need.
Guests are asked to check-in at the table located at Blind Butcher anytime during the day. Wristband(s) will be given to people who donate a fan, AC unit, or $10+. Those who donate will have the opportunity to enjoy specials from 24 businesses that are members of the Lowest Greenville Collective.
