Lumedia Musicworks presents Stories: Early Women Composers, Episode 1 - Claudia Sessa

Lumedia Musicworks weaves together the lives and works of the first distinguished female composers. Elaine Scholly and a cast of characters reveal these masterpieces through the ancient tradition of storytelling. Featured in this four-part series will be vocal works by Barbara Strozzi and Claudia Sessa; a harpsichord concerto by Wilhelmine von Bayreuth; and a violin sonata by Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre. 

Episode 1 will feature the life and music of the multitalented, Claudia Sessa. After the premiere on October 16, the episode can be viewed through October 26.
