LuminArte Gallery will present The Couleur of Light, a solo exhibition of paintings by international artist H.M. Saffer II. In this collection of vibrant landscape paintings, eastern style and sensibility meets western innovation and subjectivity on canvases adorned with bright, color-saturated pixels of light. Reminiscent of the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist styles of European Modernists combined with the technical brush work and fluid, painterly applications of the Far East, Saffer creates a new vision of sunlit impressions in nature.

Currently based in New York, Saffer has experienced a wide spectrum of creative careers, including his work as a producer and song writer, and even as a chef and restaurant owner, while exhibiting his artwork internationally in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Paris, London and across the United States and Canada.

Saffer will be on hand during the opening reception. Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through June 13.
