Mary Tomas Gallery presents Core, a group exhibition featuring new works by the formative stable of gallery artists.

Percolating with energy, creativity and stability, Core artists create and produce enduring works of fine art that is the nucleus of Mary Tomás Gallery. The various compounds that are involved in formulating the artist roster comes together over several years of building a solid foundation. These primary elements offer a depth and breadth of thought-provoking art to collectors and the viewing public highlighted in the last exhibition of 2015 entitled Core.

The bedrock of dynamic oil painting in a variety of genres, mixed media works that explore new artistic languages, or the use of Braille as a new form of communicating a conceptualized viewpoint are a few of the central themes that form the inner strand of Core. Gallery directors Mary and Alberto attract artists who are from various parts of the U.S. and around the globe as they seek to offer variety to the ever-growing Dallas art scene.

This exhibit will rotate artists over the two-month span. Featured artists from the artist roster may include Dennis Blagg, Johannes Boekhoudt, Carlos Cancio, Blair Vaughn-Gruler, Kenn Kotara, Leslie Lanzotti, Bill Nimelman, Tom Ortega, Norlan Santana, Roy Tamboli, Cecilia Thurman, Mary Tomás, Dawn Waters Baker, and more.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through February 13, 2016.
