The SMU Meadows School of the Arts will honor Tony Award-winning Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell as the 2026 recipient of the Meadows Award, celebrating his distinguished career in theater, film, and music.
As part of the award residency, Stokes will perform at the 33rd annual Meadows at the Meyerson benefit concert. Mitchell will be joined by the Meadows Choirs and the Meadows Symphony Orchestra as he performs a short repertoire of songs.
Proceeds from the event support the Meadows Impact Scholarship Fund, which provides vital financial assistance to promising Meadows undergraduate and graduate students.
