Meadows Museum will present Dallas’ first exhibition in nearly 30 years dedicated exclusively to the work of Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002), one of Spain’s most celebrated modern sculptors. Sixty-six works of sculpture, drawing, collage, gravitations, graphic works, and a small selection of artists’ books demonstrate the mature phase of Chillida’s career, when he produced some of his best-known works.
A complementary exhibition, "Chillida in Dallas: De Musica at the Meyerson," explores the artist’s landmark commission for the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Following the opening day, the exhibit will be on view through June 3.
