The Meadows Wind Ensemble classics concert has become an annual tradition, and never fails to be a favorite for musicians and audiences alike. This year's program will feature Paul Dukas' Fanfare pour précéder "La Péri," Richard Strauss's Serenade in Eb, op. 7, Percy Aldridge Grainger's Lincolnshire Posy and William Schuman's George Washington Bridge.

In addition, the MWE will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the late Howard Dunn's birthday. Dunn was the second conductor of the Meadows Wind Ensemble and founder of the Dallas Wind Symphony. This is the first event in the Meadows School's new community concert series, showcasing talented Meadows performers in venues throughout Dallas.
