Armas Desnudas is the title of the latest exhibition of new works by Dallas artist Rosemary Meza-DesPlas. Translated from Spanish, armas desnudas means “naked guns," and the show looks at the correlation between violence, the sexy and femininity through hair drawings, an installation and watercolor paintings.

The exhibit will run September 14-October 27. Ms. Meza-DesPlas, who also is a published poet, will be giving a poetry reading at at the opening reception.
