As part of the Mayor’s Office Dallas Arts Week 2016, Trans.lation Vickery Meadow presents a community fashion show showcasing original, local, and global fashions from Vickery Meadow artisans and artists. The event will feature innovative outfits made from both traditional and recycled materials, as well as an artisan market, art exhibition, performances, and the launch of Trans.lation’s new public art program featuring a mural painted by young people in the Vickery Meadows community.
Ongoing throughout the day includes artisan market, henna, art exhibitions, and other fun. Artisan market is cash only. All ticket proceeds support Trans.lation Vickery Meadow’s arts and culture programming.
