Bright colors and geometric shapes popping with a masterful sense of dimensionality will be featured in the temporary exhibition galleries at the Museum of Geometric & Madi Art for three months.
The show opens with Italian-born artist, Benini present at the museum. This will be the 163rd solo exhibition of Benini. The work brought to Dallas for the show was selected by the museum directors from the Geometric series of the 1980s and 1990s. Just like his more recent abstract paintings, the geometrics carry Benini’s signature blending technique that produces the deep spaces and projecting shapes. The Masterson Collection of International Geometric and MADI art will also be on view.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through April 23.
