Nasher Sculpture Center will present 360: Artists, Critics, Curators Speaker Series featuring a symposium dedicated to ideas found within upcoming exhibition “First Sculpture: Handaxe to Figure Stone.”
The event will be an in-depth discussion about the origins of creativity during opening weekend of the groundbreaking new exhibition curated by an artist and an anthropologist. “First Sculpture: Handaxe to Figure Stone” presents prehistoric handaxes and figure stones as evidence of the earliest forms of artistic intention among our ancient ancestors.
