The Together for a Cure Luncheon will support programs that contribute to the quality of life of those affected by MS and support national research initiatives seeking solutions to MS. The Professionals for a Cure Award honors leaders in the MS movement that are going above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of people within our community.

This year’s Together for a Cure Keynote Speaker is Lydia Emily. A Multiple Sclerosis advocate and a prolific and dynamic international artist, Emily’s work has been featured at gallery shows in Milan, Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco. Emily will tell her story and how MS has impacted her life.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will present its Professional for a Cure Awards to Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders’ Bharathy Sundaram, M.D., UT Southwestern’s Benjamin M. Greenberg, M.D., UT Southwestern’s Nancy Monson, Ph.D., at the Society’s Together for a Cure Dallas fundraiser.

Drs. Greenberg and Monson are members of UT Southwestern’s Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute. Both have received research funding support from the National MS Society.
