eventdetail
Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

New Conservatory of Dallas will present the 27th Anniversary performance of Symphony of Toys, a unique family concert presentation in which young musicians of the New Conservatory of Dallas, via the medium of music, help to collect toys for kids in need in cooperation with WFAA Channel 8 Santa's Helpers Toy Drive.

The concert includes the Toy Symphony by Leopold Mozart. Also featured on the program are works by Handel, Vivaldi, Haydn, Grieg, Godel and Piazzolla.

Admission is free ticket, but all attendees are requested to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation for WFAA Channel 8 Santa's Helpers Toy Drive. Complimentary tickets can be obtained at Tom Thumb stores in November, online at www.symphonyoftoys.org, by calling 972-503-8486 and by email to ocramer@newconservatory.org. Plan to arrive early as animals from the Dallas Zoo will be in the lobby of the Meyerson Symphony Center before the concert.
