The New Texas Symphony Orchestra will present "Beyond Boundaries," their 19th season finale, featuring composers stretching the boundaries of symphonic music into new territories.
Angela Fuller Heyde, Principal Second Violinist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, joins NTSO to celebrate Swedish composer Amanda Maier-Röntgen. NTSO will also honor the legacy of one of America’s greatest composers, William Grant Still, often called the Dean of Afro-American Composers. Selections for the concert include Still’s "Symphony No. 2 in G Minor (Song of a New Race)," and Gustav Mahler’s "Adagietto from Symphony No. 5."
The event will also include a special pre-performance event by the Dallas Metroplex Musicians’ Association.
