The New Texas Symphony Orchestra will present their second concert of the season, "Stars," featuring music selections inspired by the upcoming total solar eclipse.

The concert repertoire begins with American composer and conductor Peggy Stuart Coolidge’s "Spirituals in Sunshine" and "Shadow." The next feature will be the winner of NTSO’s Community Concerto Competition. Madeline Hornsey, violin, who will perform Édouard Lalo’s "Symphonie espagnole." Finally, NTSO will perform the "Star Wars Suite" by John Williams.

The New Texas Symphony Orchestra is an all-volunteer, nonprofit performing arts group. The mission of the NTSO is to enrich the greater Dallas communities by offering inspiration and entertainment through live symphonic music.
