New Texas Symphony Orchestra presents "Tapestry"

The New Texas Symphony Orchestra, celebrating its 20th anniversary, opens its season with Tapestry, giving a peek into the diverse fabric of symphonic music.

The program will include Kauyumari by Latin GRAMMY®-nominated Gabriela Ortiz. Guest artist Dr. Oscar Passley will join NTSO to perform Franz Josef Haydn’s "Trumpet Concerto in Eb Major." The concert will finish with Quinn Mason’s "Symphony No. 3," "Bridges of Dallas." Originally composed in 2017 and commissioned by the NTSO, Quinn’s piece celebrates four of the notable bridges in Dallas, a piece that truly reflects the soul of the city and its local musical talent.
