Newman Village’s smallest residents are taking a stand to help other Frisco children with the Fifth Annual Lemon Aid Stand to benefit Children’s Medical Center.
Started by neighborhood children to raise money and awareness for the Change for Children program at the Children’s Medical Center, the annual event raises thousands of dollars each year to support local children who need essential medical treatment.
For one afternoon, the children of Newman Village will set up decorated lemonade stands to sell ice cold lemonade and delicious baked treats like cookies, brownies and more in hopes of surpassing last year’s record-setting donations of more than $2,000.
