The nation’s largest giving day is back for its ninth year. In eight years, North Texas Giving Day, powered by Communities Foundation of Texas, has generated $156 million for the community. In 2016, the day raised a record-breaking $37 million for 2,518 nonprofits.
The Arlington GIVES! Concert will be a free community event with musical performance by native Fort Worth bluesman, Josh Weathers. The event will also feature Arlington-based charity booths, food trucks and other activities.
