NYLO Hotels will present the NYLO Bar Stars program, which will highlight some of the top mixology talent across the country. The series will feature a new “celebrity” bartender each month, challenging each to create an innovative menu of three to six specialty cocktails exclusively for NYLO. Each featured menu will be available at all three North Texas NYLO properties for the duration of its designated month.
Kicking off the program is Dallas’ very own Stephen Halpin of the Patrón Spirits Company. Regarded as one of the most respected bartenders in the country, Halpin, who hails from Dublin, Ireland, has shaken and stirred award-winning cocktails for more than 15 years, everywhere from New Zealand to the Dominican Republic. He’s spent the last five years behind the bar at some of Dallas top craft cocktail establishments, including the lauded Parliament. Most recently, Halpin has worked alongside Patrón, serving as a brand advocate and assisting in developing innovative cocktail recipes, such as the Smoked Mangonada Margarita, which was one of three finalists in Patrón’s Margarita of the Year program.
