The 2018 edition of the Oak Cliff Film Festival features the best of independent and brave filmmaking. Screenings will include the opening night film, the Joan Jett documentary, Bad Reputation; closing night film, the locally made Never Goin' Back​; a screening of the newly restored 1928 silent film classic, The Passion of Joan of Arc with live score accompaniment; the Zellner Brothers' Damsel, starring Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson, with composers The Octopus Project in concert; and a retrospective screening of Dudes with filmmaker Penelope Spheeris in person.

Screenings will take place at Texas Theatre, Bishop Arts Theatre Center, Wild Detectives, Better Block, El Sibil, and Kessler Theater. For a full schedule of events, go to the festival website.
