The 2018 edition of the Oak Cliff Film Festival features the best of independent and brave filmmaking. Screenings will include the opening night film, the Joan Jett documentary, Bad Reputation; closing night film, the locally made Never Goin' Back; a screening of the newly restored 1928 silent film classic, The Passion of Joan of Arc with live score accompaniment; the Zellner Brothers' Damsel, starring Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson, with composers The Octopus Project in concert; and a retrospective screening of Dudes with filmmaker Penelope Spheeris in person.
