The Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts will present the Booker T. Washington HSPVA Jazz Singers, one of two vocal jazz groups at the school. This group competed and won the prestigious Monterey Next generation Competition last April, and in doing so earned the right to perform at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September 2013. The group has also received an Outstanding Performance Award from Downbeat magazine the last two years.
